Hello people! :D

After surfing over the web for more or less one week I think I've started to scratch the surface of the gaming desktop area (until now I was using a laptop for mobility reasons).
My objective now is to find a good pre-built pc for gaming (unfortunately I don't have the time to buy the single components and building it by myself T_T) and seems like that in this forum and hanging around people with tons of experience in the gaming pc area.
I have a budget of max 1500€ and I am looking for: gaming desktop, monitor and a keyboard (including Vat/taxes and shipping costs to Italy)
I must admit that I am not getting the hang of the pricing area so I will try to make a description of what I would like to do with my pc and if someone will point me to the right direction/specific pc that would be amazing!
So here it comes:
I am looking for specs that allow to play the most recent titles on 1080p on (at least) high settings with a good fps (around 60) like shadow of mordor and being able to play upcoming games (with the same high settings, fps and resolution) like MGS phantom pain, witcher 3, GTA V and so on. I am not interested in a good looking case or stylish stuff like internal lights and so on....I am just looking for raw power and a system that can be upgraded over the next year with new graphic cards (DX12 compatible).
Looking around the internet seems like that I need something with a good i5 processor, at least a gtx970 4gb and an IPS monitor (seems like a good quality monitor for 1080p gaming).

If you think that what I am looking for is not realistic to achieve with 1500€ please let me know what I can buy with this budget and what I can expect to do with that : D

Thanks :),
Tony

I would honestly drop the i7 to an i5-4690K and then also lose the BD-R drive as optical drives in general are becoming less and less of a necessity. Then add an SSD like a Samsung 850 Evo or a Crucial MX200 and an aftermarket cooler and a Z97 motherboard, that will provide an overall better experience.

@WastedBenji: Thanks man, I will keep your advice on the monitor in consideration : )
@g-unit1111: Thanks for the link : D I don't have any preference in terms of store or from where the stuff will be shipped as long as I will spend max 1500€. Should I pinpoint anyway a specific store for the other users to read?

Yeah that definitely couldn't hurt. There's a lot of Italy based stores in that thread. I'll try and put together something later.

I have been through the list of the website that you gave me and seems like that I found something interesting:

http://www.conrad.com/ce/en/product/1273413/Joy-it-Gaming-PC-8-GB
http://www.conrad.com/ce/ProductDetail.html?productcode=1273415&productname=Joy-it-Gaming-PC-8-GB

Will they do the trick for what I have in mind? (gaming 1080p/60fps, possibility of upgrade with other RAM and new video card in more or less one year)

ofc I have some question regarding these 2 models:
1) Is the difference between i7-4790K and i5-4690K big in terms of gaming performance?? If I am able to save a little bit more money, will it be worthy?
2) I never heard about Conrad and the brand of the pc “joy-it”… are they reliable? Looking around the product manual seems like that there is a problem with the RAM http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/1200000-1299999/001273415-an-01-ml-KURZANL_JOY_IT_GAMI_de_en_fr_nl_es_pl_tr.pdf
3) Which monitor and keyboard should I pair with the i7-4790K/ i5-4690K models (possibly from the same shop to save on shipping)? Given that shipping cost for Italy are 99€, in case you chose the i7-4790K version there are 122€ left and for the i5-4690K there are 252€ left to invest.
4) They don’t have a windows license with them….since I already have a spare windows 7 license I was wonder how difficult is installing a OS on a “blank” system.

Cheers,
Tony

1. Depends on what type of games you want to play ultimately. Some of the more graphics intensive games like Evolve and Wolfenstein are actually starting to take advantage of higher end CPUs so if that's the type of game you want to play, I would say go for the i7.

2. Looks like their line of pre built PCs, I would research before buying.

3. I would say spend more on the monitor and less on the mouse and keyboard because you can always get better peripherals later on as an upgrade. For monitor you are looking at something like this:

And then for keyboard and mouse you are looking at something like this:

http://www.hrw.it/periferiche-e-software/cm-storm-bundle-gaming-devastator-membrane-keyboard-mouse-ita-red-backlight-uw-0-1861-301259.aspx

4. Not at all difficult - just set your primary boot drive as your optical and then it will boot up with the CD.

Ok I will order the monitor and the keyboard from that website. I was asking around and I found that a friend of mine will be able to build me a pc with these kind of spec:

Processor: i7-4790.
RAM: 16 GB DDR3-SDRAM
hard disk: 1000 GB HDD
Blu-Ray DVD Combo
GeForce GTX970

do you think it will a suitable build for the kind of gaming I'm looking for?
