I think i have a fairly solid system. All that i am unsure of is if the case will be compatible. i was wondering if maybe someone could help me with this. Also if their is any problem i may have missed or any suggestions that could improve the system, I would appreciate the help.

pcpartpicker: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/49VgNG

This is my first build so their might be some problems.
Thanks in advance.

That V300 is a horribly slow SSD, for not much more you can get an MX100 or Bx100 which is far superior in performance.

You also had an ATX sized motherbd but only a micro-ATX case, so those wouldnt work together but Shadow corrected that (WTG Shadow!)

Hey there guys, I had a look around and decided to go with this build over-all. Scan said they'd give me free shipping as my brother bought his rig from them in the past, and I'd like to have it all arrive on the same day, so that's why all the parts are coming from there, so I had to change minor things like the RAM. I know the case on PartPicker says that it's a MicroATX but if you actually click in, it's an ATX size case so I guess that must be a problem with PartPicker's description. I decided to follow ShadowR34per's advice and go for the R9, it just seems to have that slight edge over the 960. I also took away the SSD as I was going over budget. It's not completely essential to me at the moment and I can always get it later. I added a standard optical drive, don't really need anything fancy there, and a monitor, not really sure about that one, is it any good? What am I looking out for when buying a monitor? Was just wondering if you had any final thoughts or last-minute warnings before I go ahead and pick up this rig.

Thanks for all the help,
Diarmuid's brother (posing as Diarmuid) :p

P.S.: I'm not incredibly proficient in computer parts myself, in case you're wondering why he didn't ask me in the first place.

Edit: Here's the link to the rig. It would probably have been helpful to provide the link :sarcastic:

Thanks. The drop in price is really helpful as I was starting to think I was going a little over budget. As for the rig as a whole, is this a good quality rig for what I'm paying? I am especially talking about the monitor as I feel I may have skimmed over the list and picked one without doing enough research.

Thanks again guys, you've been a major help.

Great. I will create a new thread and see where that leads me. Thank you so much. You have been a huge help throughout the build.
