what is difference between a CL11 vs Non ecc cl11

I am trying to select the best 4GB ram for my old Y560 Lenovo laptop to use up the last memory slot. I am not finding what the difference is in the choice b/t CL11 and Non-ECC CL11.

Yes, get the non-ECC one. ECC won't be supported by your processor. Also, ECC is for workstation computers, so the processors that support it and the motherboards it fits in are both expensive. No use for you.
