I bought a new graphics card and psu yesterday and installed them both. turned on pc everything seemed perfect i started the install the cards drivers went downstairs to do somthing and when i came back my pc's power button light was flashing and the fans were off and no display so i turned it off by flipping the back switch. tried turning it on and the lights would flash on and off. i then unplugged everything and plugged in back up and it would turn on but the graphics card wouldnt display anything and the fans on it werent working. then i put my old graphics card back into the pc and has been working fine. i still have it in now.
the card i bought was a EVGA geforce gtx 750 ti sc acx and the psu is a Thermaltake smart 650w

i have no idea whats wrong and no way to tell if the psu connection to the card is bad since my old card doesnt need one. Has the new card died or could it be that the new psu's power connection to the card is bad?
