So initially my computer started acting really weirdly, crashing randomly, blue screens, failed load ups etc. Then it failed to update windows a bunch of times, so, after reading up on that a bunch and doing all the troubleshooting to no avail I did a reinstall of windows only to keep getting the same errors. Eventually i ran memtest86 and almost immediately it came up with over 10,000 errors even though as long as i don't touch windows updates the computer still runs fairly smoothly with infrequent crashes. Is there anything i can do about this? Or is my only option to just trash my ram and get new ones?

PC Specs:
CPU - Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4 GHz
GPU - AMD Radeon R9 280x 3Gb
Memory - 16 Gb Adata XPG V2
Motherboard - GIGABYTE Z87-HD3 Intel Z87 Chipset

Let me know if any other info is helpfull and any help would be much appreciated :)

I tried adjusting the voltages with no effect. However I also did try testing each individual stick in both ram slots and found that only one of the 8Gb sticks is coming up with errors.
