I have been trying to get my new PC up and running but whenever I attempt to install windows 8 it keeps saying there is no device drivers found. Help please!

Solution
Is this all components you bought or was this a system you bought without an operating system? I removed my hard drive and mounted a so air that I had from a different computer. You might have to format your hard drive before moving forward. It may not be so simple but what condition is your current hard drive in. If it's new it needs a few things done before you can use it..

It is a brand new computer I got off some website called IBUYPOWER without an operating system, so I have been trying to install Windows 8, but for some reason it keeps saying, "No device drivers were found Make sure the install media contains the correct drivers, then click OK."

Without being there to see it for myself, I would tell you I think it is a bad hard drive. Ibuypower is usually a good company, do you have a friend who will allow you to run a hard drive health check on there computer?

There are many things that can go wrong on your computer, I'm assuming it was shipped. The hard drive has moving parts so it would be easy to break something. In the past I've seen Ibuypower use Asus motherboard or other top notch brands. But it's still possible it's a sata controller that's your problem. It could also be a issue with windows cd you have, or even the DVD ROM. The possibilities are endless, but my gut says it's the hard drive.

The thing is I don't know if it is the computer or if i'm just doing something wrong. That's why I started looking up solutions but so far nothing as really seemed to help.
