Will 4+2 gb run as dual channel?

Since this would have to sticks, I wonder if it'd run dual channel. If not then would it still have twice as much bandwidth as a single stick?

Note : I have a single stick 8gb and I wonder if it's better than 4+2gb (6gb)

2 IDENTICAL 8gb modules would be ideal .

Yes your post though originally showed as 4x2 not 4+2 from your edit 6 minutes ago (thought the title odd from that ;) ) 4+2 will not perform as well as a single 8GB stick - as we have no idea what mobo or CPU, if a recent Intel ofr AMD mobo it will run in Flex mode (Intel) or achances good a variation of AMDs take on flex which would end up with 4GB in dual channel and the odd 2 GB in single (with a stick in each channel)

All I eidited was by putting " (6gb) '' at the end of my thread,so other ppl wouldn;t think it's ''4x2''. It was already 4+2 ever since. That's why I put ''since this would have 2 sticks,I wonder if it'd run dual channel''. I already know that 2 sticks of 4gb kit would run dual channel,so I wouldn't be asking that question if I put 4x2.

Since we still don't know mobo and CPU answer stands as to a newer model would work in flex and not be as good as the single 8GB, even if flex mode isn't involved still not as good as an 8 GB sticks as you'd only have 6GB if all in single channel

If 1 single 8 stick is better then how come I'm getting lower performance than some benchmark videos on youtube? (Those videos also have lower APU + 6gb ram). Mine barely get the performance of an A6 and I don't get why.

Performance will be based on the individual APU/CPU, what it's set at, the DRAM and combos, timings, setups, there's numerous variable that will play in - you can take two systems made of identical compooneents and have them perform far differently

Ofcource 8GB is better than 4+2 Gb but if you want twice the bandwidth then you have to install two memory of same company and same type with option enabled to support dual memory architecture.
But since you have a single stick then your data rate can't be doubled, and as far as i think your pc perfomace might varry than before
