Hey!
I'm looking at getting some case fans in my build as my PC gets fairly warm so I was wondering if any of you could help me out with what to get as I know 0 to none about case fans. My case has spots for 80mm fans and 120mm fans, price isn't really an issue. Here's my current build

CPU: i5 4690
GPU: GTX 760 EVGA SC
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-DS2 (rev 2.0)
Power Supply: Cougar CMX 700 (700 watts)
Memory: 8GB Kingston HyperX
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate

I am unsure of the case sorry, hope you guys can help me out as I've been looking for ages and have found nothing. Thanks!

If price is not an issue and you're not using radiators, I understand Noctua fans are a pretty straightforward choice. They perform legendarily well and are very quiet, although they do have a price premium over other fans. And now they're available in colors other than crappy tan! :p

If you also want LED's, I find the Bitfeniz fans to work quite well. I use those in my machine, and I've never had much of an issue with them. They do make a whooshing sound when moving a lot of air, but it only happens at higher loads, which is usually when I'm gaming with headphones on.

They actually have two non-brown ones: one of them is indeed a cheaper series, but the other is their industrial series, which is actually the same performance but higher longevity, for 24/7 systems. The industrial ones are not as easy to get, though; I only found a single 120mm on Newegg, with no other sizes available.

the industrials at least the ones I've seen on amazon run at high RPMs and are not really for ordinary pc cooling where sound level is an issue hence the name. But yes, many being water and dust proof they are of higher quality so I guess I should have qualified my answer. btw Amazon has a good selection of them.

Makes sense. I forgot to consider the fact they wouldn't optimize them for sound performance. Thanks for the info!
