Hi,

I've been asking many quesions about AMD and Intel CPU becuase I want ot upgrade my PC, Numbers and benchmarks like on Systemrequirmentlab.com gave pretty good numbers to FX 6300 and FX 8320 comparing to most if i3 and some if i5, but here experts say that i5 running at 3.2Ghz is better that 6 core AMD CPU running at 3.5Ghz or even more?

what is that?

I want to change my i3 with i5 or AMD, in both cases the Mobo should be changed so I want to know what to get.

mine now is

i3 3210
GTX 750 TI 2 GDDR5
6GB Ram
H61 Chipset LGA 1155 Mobo

thanks,

Intel has faster single core performance.

So an i5 has 4 cores.
Each core is faster than AMD's 6-8 cores.

Since most games like fast core performance, games can run better on an i3 when compared to a 6300 for example.

As for your system, I would look into a GPU upgrade actually. a 270x/280 would be nice upgrade. Your CPU should handle it.

Yes Intel is considered better and it is
if budget is a problem AMD's fx series is a good choice but dont compare it with intel there's no competition
- powerful single threaded performance
- hyper threading technology ( two major PROS of Intel Chips )

if you are considering an i5

I5 4670K is the best at its price (4670 if your'e not an overclocker)
If you are considering AMD fx 6300 is best at its price

yep didn't see the motherboard config deeply(but still 4670K is the best) :)
