Been flirting with the idea of upping my ram and was curious:
I currently have 8gb (2x4) running on my desktop. If I was to push for 16gb would it be smarter buy 2 additional sticks and run at 4x4gb or should I replace my current ram and run with an all new 2x8gb setup.
Not considering cost at the moment, just looking at if there is a real performance difference between the two options.
