Bootmgr on a different drive question

Hello, I recently did a fresh install of win7 on a bigger ssd. I botched the migration procedure lol. Anyway, I have noticed that win7 system files are on one drive C: and the bootmgr is on another. I am curious to know if having this split will bite me in the butt later down the road. Do i need to have everything on one drive or can the bootmgr file just stay where it is? Would there be any technical ramifications if I left it in this sort of dual boot setup?

Solution
Boot Manager is deliberately placed on a separate drive/ partition with Windows 7 installations to make it far less likely it will be messed with by human error or malware as it's usually on a hidden volume called "System Reserved".

It should be the Active partition, and as long as it's left that way you shouldn't have any problems with it.
