Freshly installed RAM causing problems with my wireless adapter

Today I purchased and installed some new RAM (this, specifically) to replace two old sticks (a 1 GB stick and a 2 GB stick, both from the same manufacturer as the new RAM I bought).

Ever since I have done so, my wireless adapter/drivers/whatnot have been acting up at random and without warning. After approximately 15 - 60 minutes of my computer being on, whatever it is that manages wireless connections on windows just... fails.

The limited connectivity symbol will appear without warning on the wifi symbol on the bottom right of the taskbar, and I lose connection to the internet. Attempting to switch to another router in the household causes that whole thing (whatever it is that you use to choose what it is you connect to) locks up indefinitely and until after I restart my computer I am no longer able to interact with it in any way. Additionally, when I restart my computer after this little mishap has taken place it hangs indefinitely on the blue "Shutting down" screen.

According to a scanner on the RAM manufacturer's website, my PC is indeed compatible with the RAM I purchased (the highlighted item is what I am using). I also ran memtest86+ and it completed without error.

I attempted fully reinstalling the driver for my wireless adapter as well as well as resetting the BIOS to default settings. Neither had any effect. I can't fathom what could be causing this.

rest of specs (no idea if this is important but here it is anyways)

I think this may be a "True, true, unrelated."

The RAM is coming up with the correct amount installed in your specs.

I do not think that the RAM could finish the Memtest, and the system works otherwise, but that it somehow affects the wireless connection only.

I would try a different wifi adapter. You did not state what you currently have. Make sure to uninstall the current driver before installing the new one.

I am using this thing.

It worked perfectly and without issues up until I decided to change the RAM. I don't think it's specifically related to the wireless adapter anymore; after the crash (or whatever one would call it) occurs, attempting to access Network and Sharing Center causes the window to lock up completely - it cannot be interacted with or closed (including via task manager). If it was something between the RAM and wireless adapter then I don't see why it would make the entire Network and Sharing Center suddenly inaccessible.

I'm going to see if it happens when I am connected via ethernet (as opposed to using my wifi adapter).

No problems when I use ethernet. Only with wireless. If the RAM switch wasn't the cause of this problem then that's a really really ugly coincidence.

I did some research into the adapter itself and apparently this isn't an entirely uncommon problem. It only seems to affect users of Windows 7 x64. I just can't understand why it decided to start causing trouble now instead of when I bought it 3 years ago.

Scratch that last post. The problem goes away if I switch back to the old RAM, so the RAM absolutely has to be negatively affecting my wireless adapter somehow. But I also don't think the RAM is faulty, as everything else works 100% perfectly. It's just the wireless that gets messed up. But I can't think of any reason why RAM would affect a wireless adapter. None of this makes sense at all.
