HELP GTX 690 5 fps

So I have just reinstalled all my steam library and when I booted up CSGO for the first time the loading screen to about 30 seconds and ever since this i have experienced this bad stuttering every time i either click on something shoot or change weapon, this makes the hole game unplayable. Does anyone know how to fix this btw its I dont think its my specs because I can run every game ultra above 60 fps pretty much all the time, any help would be appreciated thanks.

specs
i7 965 overclocked to 4.0ghz on air
8gb or corsair ram
GTX 690

Dumb question, when's the last time you updated your drivers?

It could be an SLI problem, try disabling SLI and see if that fixes it. (You don't need both GPUs for CSGO, one GPU will easially run that game at ultra.)

I updated all my frivers when the problem first appeared and ill disable sli now.

Here are things to try:

Go back to a older geforce driver.
Make sure you have all windows updates.
Update your motherboard BIOS.
Check your GPU temps.

Do you have another decent video card? That would at least allow you to isolate if it's your video card.

I have tried all of those steps apart from upddating my bios because my motherboard bios seems to be discontinued pheonix bios.Also soory i dont have a decent other gpu at the moment, its wierd because i can still play all other games fine eg arma 3 ect.

I went back to old geforce drivers and disables AVG both seemed to help dramatically thanks for your help its pretty much back to the original fps.
