Windows 8.1 Virtual Memory/Pagefile....change size itself?

Hi all. Just wanted to ask if anyone has seen this before. I do have Samsung SSD magician installed as well, but I don't have any settings enabled for the software to automatically change my size. I have a 256GB 850 Pro for my C: and a 512 for D:. I install my games on D: Drive. Yesterday, I installed another game, about 11.5GB on D. Other than that, yesterday, my Pagefile was the default of 16GB, matching my memory capacity. Today, I noticed it switched itself to about 2.5GB as I monitor things quite a bit as I've tightened the timings of my memory. Recently during this as part of my OC, I had strange behavior/OS corruption that was taking place over a week or so. I reset the timings back to stock, System Restored to a month prior, and all the "odd" behavior disappeared. I decided to give it another go, same timings, but more voltage. Been running this way for 3 weeks or so, though really only using my PC about 3 days a week. No signs of odd stuff or corruption as before. Just ran an sfc /scannow which came back clean. Nothing odd in Event Viewer Windows Logs, which was happening before(services stopped working, ect.) Windows use/Gaming behavior has been fine. I'm just trying to see if Virtual Memory can change itself higher/lower on its own, as it's set to let Windows manage it's size, or is corruption starting to set in again...:( Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else before?

EDIT/

Doing some more digging. It seems possible at least that Windows can adjust lower. I do have my pagefile set to "system managed size". I found a few places that say Windows can adjust up/down. It's just that I've never noticed this before, then again it's not something you typically look for.
