Ok, I recently spent 1400$ on my pc. I have three acer Al1717 Fbd black 17" monitors there all 60 hz. I was wondering if getting one 120hz monitor would affect how well I play games such as cs-go. Ive used a 120hz monitor before and Ive now noticed tearing in most of my games. My question is should I switch or should I be fine? I play high competitive games such as battle field 4 and cs-go. Any one have a monitor that they would recommend that's 120hz? I'm hoping to spend less then 250$ but idk, I have no idea if the hz of a monitor is game changing.

Solution
It is a game changer, for example when I played f1 challange (this was a while back) on my monitor at 75hz, my lap times were nearly 2x faster than with a 60hz monitor. So if your an aggressive player, then a hz increase is defiantly a game changer.

I recommend the Asus VG248QE.
