Hello,
I'm trying to build a decent gaming PC that would be able to play pretty much everything on high settings (except stuff like AC:Unity and Crysis, of course). My budget was $1000, and this is what I've put together so far (not physically, but on pcpartpicker):

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/FKQYt6
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston Fury White Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
SSD: Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Internal Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Black Edition Double Dissipation Video Card
Case: NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

Total cost: $1052.43

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, C3 is a killer. Won't max out settings, but you'll be able to play at such high settings, that you won't notice the difference. C3 looks beautiful even at slightly reduced settings.
