I am looking to upgrade from my current processor which is a very old and dying AMD phenom ii X4 940 thats about 5 or 6 years old now. I am wanting to upgrade it to an AMD A10 7850K, i have looked at a lot of compatibility sites but a lot of them haven't actually been updated for a long time since the motherboard is pretty old now so very few sites follow it. So would anyone know if it would work ok?
All the specs the new processor work out to what works with the motherboard i just wanted a confirmation before buying. It would be a great help
