Adding new gpu to the cyberpowerpc gamer ultra 2098

hi, i've just bought a cyberpowerpd gamer ultra 2098 off of newegg.ca. It doenst have the greatest gpu and i plan to upgrade it. Does anyone know if the msi radeon r9 280 would work as replacement gpu for this computer? Thanks.

Yes you can put an R9-280 in there BUT you will want to replace your PSU also - I won't go too much into it other than to suggest Searching CyberPowerPC Standard PSU
A quality 500W PSU should serve just fine in there but I wouldn't know where to start about the thing that's masquerading as a PSU in the current configuration - okay, one hint, it features a -5v rail which hasn't been in PC specs in ~10 years, that's not a good sign in a modern PC
