My old motherboard died so I installed a new one with old hard drive an video card but it won't boot I did some research and found that I need just the driver files not an exe file (that msi has on there site). the motherboard is msi x99s sli plus. Processor is 17 5820 ram is 16gb 4x4gb ddr4 2400 udimm 1.2v . The drivers i need are ide/ahci/sata driver file for msi motherboard x99s sli plus
I have installed win7 64bit (same as old drive) on a empty drive and all works great (but I need to get the old drive to boot as all my working programs are on it. So I 2 ?? one were to get the drivers or were can I find them on the drive that works to put on the old drive
