Hi, i need help or advice on an issue ive been havining with my pc. I recently bought a pc and just finished assembling it,so i was happy until i had started to install windows 7. For some reason it doesnt seem to load the installation process. It stays sloading for eternity. Ive checked my hardware and it all seems to be fine. Asus m5a97_amd fx 6300_gtx 970 scc_wd 1tb hdd_rosewill 700m_g skill ares 4gb.....not to mention my old optic disc drive which i think has something to do with it. Plzz anyone care to help i still have warranty on all my products so sooner is better..thnks

Can you check on your mobo if it posts? Look at all the numbers that appear until they get to 00. Other than that I would suggest just replacing the optical drive with a more modern one.
