Ok I sent my USB to a friend of mine to copy a file, now my USB is write protected.

I tried CMD, Registry, and even apps. None of them work, there is no switch in my USB to activate the write protection.

My USB is Sandisk Cruzer Facet 32GB. any help ?

Hey Fraxure. It does sound like you've tried all sensible options. If you've tried the diskpart and registry edit methods and you don't have any locking switches on the drive, unfortunately it might have become faulty. I'd suggest that you try it with a different computer and device to see if the same thing happens. Also does it still work with your friend's system, or the same issue appears as well?

Well I gave it back to my friend, and then he said that he already fixed it and that he installed an anti-virus, but when I checked it again, same problem.
