Put your OS and programs on the SSD as they will load much faster. If you have a regular hard drive, use it for mass storage for music and video files.

Are you planning on just using it only for boot, or do you want to store regular information and files on it.

I have 2 Drives on my PC 1 is a SSD 60g and the other is my HHD 2TB
I installed my OS on BOTH of the drives, then I made sure to connect my SSD to the first sataport usually labelled 0
while the HDD is not connected i boot up the computer and get all the essentials on my SSD, such as Anti virus programs and drivers. Make sure your SSD is labeled as the first storage device, such as. Local Disk(C:)

Then I connect the hard drive and be sure to change the boot priority to the SSD before the HDD.
If you want you can Partition your HHD for games/programs/software.

The SSD will not increase the speed of any applications or games so no point in putting them on there.

Everytime you install something be sure to change the default directory path to Local Disk (D:) which should be your HHD.

If all works you will boot only from the ssd.

Only thing I have to say is if you want just a boot drive there are ones made for that reason, 120g SSD is overkill for just booting, Unless you use multiple OS
