System freezes, no DVI signal to the monitor – what’s wrong?

Hi people.

I've finally got myself a decent rig (specs. below), but there is a problem. Every time I "hit" the table on which it sits (a small bump when you sit down in your chair etc.) - Windows freezes and I have to do a hard reset. Even worse: Quite often the monitor doesn't even come alive again. It works, but it says "No DVI-signal" and just waits for me to pull out all of the plugs, put them in again and then reset.

Where is the problem? Is it my PSU? It is the oldest part. Or is it me OC'ing my CPU? Or is perhaps my RAM? Because I also got a blue screen of death where it mentioned something about the RAM.

Woe is me. Help would be nice.

CPU: i5-4690K 4.4GHz (OC) COOLER: Noctua NH-D14 (cores: x 45 / core volt: 1.250 / stress test: 60c) GPU: ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 970 MB: ASUS Z97-P LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6 Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX RAM: 8 GB Kingston DDR3 PSU: 550 Watt XFX Core Edition PRO550W

Hello,
First of all dont hit the cpu... It makes the wiring inside may become loose connection..
Try to fix all the cables fit and then try to fix the power cable to monitor and hard disk(if necessary) and try to remove the RAM from slots clean it and then fix it properly..
Hope it may help you..

He he... It's just the table that moves a little bit, when I sit down. I don't touch the CPU or any other component :) It's like the entire rig is SO fragile, even the slightest movement on the table (it's not within a case atm) shakes the rig and freezes it. Logic seems to indicate that there is some faulty wire - somewhere. Right?
