BSOD - where to find the crash dump info?

last night i upgraded a video rendering program and did a restart before using the program - on restart computer went to a BSOD after POST and gave me some info about fltmgr (don't recall the file extension), then showed it was preparing crash report, and then "dumping the memory to a physical disk" before restarting the computer on it's own.

I probably spent 2 hours trying all sorts of corrections, including trying to just do a complete fresh install of windows 7 - it wouldn't let me do that telling me that the disk i was trying to install to needed to be "GPT" and not "EFI". I remember changing disks to GPT so i could use the asus disk unlocker for my 4 TB storage drive. This is a custom build, my first, about 5 months old and has run perfectly with no issues from day 1.

The stranger part, i keep a clone copy of my OS drive (actually two, one fresh, and one 2 weeks old, so i "leap frog" when i do a backup clone. Neither backup would allow the computer to get past POST (i'm assuming the screen with the ASUS logo and the chance to go into BIOS is the POST screen).

Using the windows repair disc maybe 12 times, i finally got into safe mode, and safe mode seemed to load files the system was missing and computer is working again this morning, but oddly, it will only boot on the backup drive, not the system's OS drive (I have one of those hot sway 2X 2.5" hard drive bays and i keep the backup SSD in it). Last night it wouldn't boot off either drive, and both drives are identical samsung 840 EVO SSDs. Even after cloning the backup drive back to the system's OS drive, it will not boot all the way into windows from the OS drive.

Anyway, where do i find the crash report so i can research what the cause of the bsod was?
