So I keep getting a critical error message that restarts my computer and the error message
is Kernal Power Event 41 (63). It only happens when I try and play H1Z1 but what ever else
I am doing nothing happens. I currently don't know what is the root of my problem all my
temperatures are < 45C. Do you think this would be the game causing this problem? Or is it
a bad part in my computer? Also this game ran completely fine with no problems with my PSU
facing up and in the new case I started facing it down to get fresh air, when I transferred
everything to the new case is when this problem started happening. I have searched high and
low for this fix for a week straight with no luck.

Solution
Stress test your GPU to determine if it's the cause of the restart (it should be the PSU or the GPU). Kernel power 41 occurs because the system was reset and it didn't have a chance to shut down properly.

So I did a stress test on my gpu and it started getting to 70C and then it did the reboot with the same critical error.... I just bought this video card for 240 dollars and its about 15 days out of the return policy....

Unfortunately that still doesn't prove the GPU definitely is defective. Could you borrow another PSU to make 100% sure the issue is caused by the GPU? A good 500W PSU is enough for that test since the rest of the system isn't working hard. I've never seen a GPU that causes spontaneous reboots (they usually cause a system freeze), but a PSU can.

So I kind of had a feeling that was the next step went to my buddy's last night and we took out his corsair 750 w and ran the stress test. The stress test with my psu lasted about 6 mins and rebooted. With his psu we had it going for 24 mins with no problems at all. SO would this just make it a defective psu or it's not strong enough or don't get a rose will psu again?

The psu I had that I replaced is a 650 w don't know exact specs but I had no problems with that one and my same build but wanted a modular so got the rosewill. Also what should I look for spec wise for psu'so?
