Yes, I know there are a few threads about this particular machine.
I want to use the DC7700 for minor gaming. In particular,
1. I want to use a GTX 560 SE with it. I'm aware I need to upgrade the PSU, but I'm having some difficulty finding one that fits the case and has all of the necessary connectors. I'd like to upgrade the PSU before I purchase a new motherboard.
2. I'd like to put a different motherboard in the case in the future. The only parts I definitely want to reuse are the cd drive and PSU for the GTX 560 SE (from above). I'd prefer to stay fairly low in price, as such I'm eyeing Core2Quad motherboards currently.
3. I'd like to emphasize on keeping the case. I don't mind using the old case for newer parts as an interim case. I plan on attaching an extra 120mm fan on the front for air intake.
I'm aware I'm working with subpar hardware here: I already have a primary gaming machine. I want to use what's left of this machine for some minor gaming.
