How do you install windows 8.1 on a new computer

Solution
Make sure the monitor is plugged into the gpu.
Put the window installer disc into the optical drive or plug in the USB drive containing the installer.
Boot into the BIOS and select to boot the disc/USB drive to start the setup.
It should then start the window setup.
You would then follow on the onscreen instructions. When you get to the screen in choosing where to install windows, I would select the option "New" so it will be formatted correctly for GPT which allows UEFI to be used.

No only the disc will come if you bought the OEM version/retail version.
You can make your own USB to have this installer though.
