I have to base Nvidia models and was wondering if was worth it to overclock them? I game on 1080p which one 970 is more than enough but then I also do quite a bit of rendering and animation.
Of course you should. It's free performance. If you're worried about the extra heat try to see how far you can overclock them without raising the voltage. I'm assuming it's 144hz, but if it's 60hz then SLI 970's are way overkill and you probably don't have to worry about overclocking.
