My build is:
Asus Z87 Sabertooth
i7-4790K
Nvidia 660 Ti
8 GB RAM PNY
Stock intel cpu cooler
600 W power supply
1TB & 500 GB HDD

I've tried plugging in the HDMI -to-DVI cable to the MB slot and graphics card and haven't had anything at all come up. I don't now if I got the beeps when I first started it up, as I didn't know to listen for them. I've tried plugging in one ram stick, also plugging it in furthest away from cpu and closest. I'm at a complete loss. The power LED comes on and my Saitek joystick gets power but not my keyboard and mouse. Also I have 2 HDDs plugged in, one running windows 7 and still has my old MB BIOS data.

I don't have any idea and I'm no sure how to find out either (A bit of a noob but I can follow terms and directions fairly well). The BIOS software I have on my Hard drive right no was for a different model Motherboard and CPU; All I did was swap those out of my build

The BIOS version should be the last four digits on the serial number label on the motherboard and/or box. It looks like your motherboard supports updating BIOS directly from a USB drive if your existing BIOS doesn't support your processor: http://www.asus.com/microsite/2014/MB/New_4th_gen_Intel_processor_compatibility/#models

Moving an existing Windows installation on a hard drive from one CPU/motherboard to another may or may not work due to differences in hardware features and drivers. OEM versions of Windows are tied to the first CPU/motherboard they're first installed on and can't be reactivated on new hardware. Which Windows are you trying to move (7 Ultimate, XP Professional, Vista Home Premium, etc.), 32- or 64-bit, and which version (full retail, upgrade, or OEM)? Do you have reinstall media?
