I overclocked my gigabyte x-79 ud 5 and now i have to clear the cmos every time i want to boot my computer. I accessed my bios settings and tried to put the my bios to default settings and save and quit. However it still didn't work. I tried loading windows on safe mode too but unfortunately that didn't work too. I'm stuck now and open to any solutions

Did you look to see if your BIOS version reverted after trying to save changes? Does the ram or CPU that you OC'ed still show in BIOS? Did you just use the jumper or reset button to clear CMOS? Unplug and remove your CMOS for 5-15 minutes and try to save changes again.
