So, I got this really weird issue that has only found its origins, since having re-installed Windows. Periodically, I lose control of my touch and USB ports no longer function. Coincidentally, if I happen to be using my laptop in tablet mode at the time, the screen will get stuck in whatever rotation mode it was last in, when this occurred. For the longest time, I could not figure out what was responsible and I would restore/ refresh my OS install and it would be back to normal, until it randomly occurred again. Within the past month, I decided to check device manager and found that Windows was disabling the Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver. Re-enabling this fixes the issue, but why would it periodically get disabled in the first place? I use no anti-virus, other than Windows Defender/ Windows Essentials.
