I got some new computer parts, I put everything in my case, plugged everything in the right place, but this is the first time I've every actually put a computer together(my first computer was pre built). When I hit the power button nothing happens, I also tried the touch a screwdriver to power components trick and it still didn't turn on, but the Motherboard light and graphics card light are on when the psu is on.

So I'm wondering what is wrong?

The parts are Asus P8B75-M/csm motherboard, Asus Geforce GTX 760 graphics card, and corsair vengeance cmz8gx3m2a1600c9b ram.

Also the psu, processor, and harddrive didn't change from my previous pc.

You probably plugged the power switch cable which makes it actually turn on when you press the power button on the case into the wrong spot. Refer to this:

JFP1 is a series of pins on the motherboard where these little plugs go.

I should have mentioned I tried putting the power switch cables in every way possible, I'm pretty sure I tried this way too.
I just tried it this way and it still didn't turn on.
