how to fix usb drive with no media

It just started win i repair my other laptop i just insert my usb and i transfer some files. and it copy some files. before i finish i close my laptop and when i open it then it happend.

My usb cannot be display on my comuter. but the windows recognize it as a storage. but it displa 0 btye and no media.

This is rather unfortunate! :/ Can you please go to Disk Management and tell me how the drive is displayed there?

It would be great if you can even post a screenshot of it.
I'd suggest you to first change different USB ports and if you have a spare USB cable to try connecting the external HDD with it instead.
Another thing worth trying is changing the drive letter while at Disk Management. Here's something from our knowledge base that can guide you through the procedure: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=YVboUO
