Hello all,

So a few weeks ago I had a cold glass of water sitting on top of my pc, the condensation dripped down into the computer straight on to the gpu power soldered pins, I think this is the only place it dripped. It was an EVGA GTX 670 FTW.

So I brought a new gpu, an EVGA GTX 760, that worked for a week but kept getting nvidia driver has stopped and recovered. So I went for a warranty claim on that card and it was faulty and as they had no more 760's left I got a refund and spent a little extra and brought an EVGA GTX 970 FTW.

I installed the new GTX 970 today But have no display. I have all connections correct, I have tried both DVI and HDMI and I have no output. Both fans are spinning, computer seems to turn on fine (no beeping or irregular sounds) but just no display. I have tried another PCI-E slot but still nothing. From memory the last time I booted the computer with the faulty GTX 760 it froze at the ASUS boot screen and didn't move from that so I cracked it and sent it away.

Before removing the Faulty GTX 760 i did a fresh format of windows so an operating system shouldnt be the promlem. Im hoping its maybe a blown GPU for an Easy fix?

Specs:
Asus ROG Rampage IV Formula Motherboard
Intel Core i7 (Lga 2011)
G.Skill Sniper 8gb Ram
Skandisk 128Gb SSD
1TB WD HDD
Coolermaster M2 Silent Pro 850w PSU
EVGA GTX 970 FTW

Any help Would be Appreciated
Thankyouuuu

Did you completely uninstall the Nvidia drivers when you switched the GPU? If not, I would do that first, then reinstall the most recent stable drivers.

Failing that, can you be sure that water didn't drop onto the motherboard? If every card has failed in every PCIe slot, it sounds like the motherboard is the cause of the problem.
