Solution

AMD R9 295X2 - 500W+ (under full load)
Intel i7 4790 - 84 W

Total more than 600W.
To ensure more breathing space on the PSU , 850W suffices the requirement.

Half of that would be more than enough, 850 would still be massive overkill...

Seriously what is it with you guys on this site to want/buy and recommend PSUs with far too much power all the time?

If he overclocks, or crossfire another card, he'd have needed 850 watts of power.
You don't buy the PSU considering what will be your current power usage, you buy it considering future-proofing, so that adding one or two GPUs, or upping the memory or OCing, doesn't make you buy another PSU. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Anyways, 1000w was above all that, he he!

650W would be more suited for SLI and still would have a good reserve. 850 is still overkill. 850W becomes a realistic choice if you want 3 GPUs.

Assuming you are talking about the OCZ 1000W Gold Rated Fully Modular PSU, of what i've read from the reviews sounds decent enough for the job. Ofcourse Seasonic , EVGA etc brands are bit more renouned and trusted but if you've bought it, stick with it. If you haven't then go for the ones which i've mentioned above. The colour themes will not protect your components from frying if anything goes wrong.
