will HKC 580 watt be enough for ASUS STRIX GTX 970 OC?

Solution
That's not a good psu. It's running 3.3v 32A, 5v 35A, 12v 30A outputs which is a very old design used back when cpus needed such high amperage on 3.3 and 5v outputs. For example, an XFX 550w TS has 3.3v 20A, 5v 20A and 45A 12v which is definitely better as gpus use 12v, fans use 12v etc and most of the 550w comes from the 12v rail, not like your posted psu where the wattage is from a shared 5v/12v output.

12v x 30A = 360w. 12v x 45A =540w. Huge difference in output, and that will affect the gpu greatly.

Will it be enough? Probably, 75% efficiency is bad though, very bad. Chances of problems? Rather large. Chances of driving the psu to 100% full load? Large possibility. Chances of burning up the psu in less than 1 year? 100% Chances...

im not sure about that PSU.

Try an XFX TS (or XT) 550W psu, should be enough for a CPU and GPU overclock but if you really are scared that isn't enough, try a 650w version. I personally think that it's going to be fine on a 550w psu :)
