It worked well for last 1.5 years. Now it is giving problem (No Display......but all the fans are running, Graphic card fan is also running but giving beep like mentioned above) Now i am planning to buy a new Graphic card. My Budget is between Rs.5000/- to Rs.10,000/- pl. suggest me a good card which will suit my motherboard. Also please suggest wheteher it is worth investing that much?

2) Whether any DDR5 Graphic card will suit my ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 Motherboard which is DDR2 type?

3) Graphic card of which make is Good generally in reliability point of view?

4) My PSU is Corsair VS650W (Brand new only 10 days old). Whether this is sufficient for handling the total system power requirement and match Graphic card up gradation.

GTX750TI almost as good as R9 265 R9 than u have the 270/R9 270X

GTX960 GTX760 R9 280 <<<these are as high as you're CPU will push might notice 10/5% bottlneck dont go any higher

Ge the nvidia cards from EVGA MSI or ASUS

for AMD i would go Sapphire or ASUS

IMO 7870 or R9 270X will be a sweet spot

Hi there,

I would recommend an upgrade to a gtx 960 or a r9 270/280.

Your CPU should have no problem with those cards. I wouldn't want to go to an GTX 970 as I think you would start seeing some bad bottle necks on a lot of new games.

You will be fine using any GPU with that motherboard.

I would recommend MSI, GIGABYTE, ASUS, EVGA for good quality graphics cards.

PSU will be fine for any major upgrade.

Well, I don't know about 'High end gaming' with the older CPU and motherboard, but the 945 is still pretty capable with fast RAM and an overclock. Medium and maybe some High settings on something like a 280/280x/290 or GTX 960/970 should be possible.

Pretty much any GPU will have hardware sepport for video decoding.

If you plan to upgrade your board and CPU at some point in the next year, I'd go for a 970. Otherwise a 960 or 280 will be a better match for your existing parts.

Thanks folks! all of you have equally contributed in helping me to choose a good Graphics card. Well i have purchased "Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon Dual-X R9 270X with Boost OC 2 GB 2 GB DDR5 Graphics Card" Price Rs.14,350/- purchased directly from Ritchie Street, Chennai. Installed it and found that the card is really silky smooth and performs like it is flying in air. I am really satisfied. I tried to take R9 270X Vapour series...... but non of the shop was having stock. However, i loving my R9 270X.
