I am using Samsung SyncMaster SA10 LCD. I have been using the same LCD for over 2 years now and have always used the resolution 1366x768 at 60 Hz which was native. Few days ago, i re-installed the windows and now i can't set the resolution to 1366x768. It displays the resolution but when i apply it cuts-off from one side and adjusting screen doesn't help. Besides, the native resolution is now 1024x768

* I use nvidia 9600 gt graphics card. I downloaded latest drivers from their website and installed them. even in nvidia control pannel it says 1024x768 as native resolution and selecting 1366x768 results in same situation (screen cutting off from right side).

* I double checked all the connections, but nothing helped me.

* I tried to go without the graphics card, removed it and put the LCD vga cable directly into motherboard [ IPM41-GS (Socket 775) ] but screen got blank which i took as a guess there are no intel graphic drivers installed. I tried to install one by searching drivers for relevant motherboard but every time i failed due to random errors including non-support.

* I also checked into my device manager under monitors tab, its says generic non-PNP monitor. I did that "let me choose" step (mentioned in a similar post) but in standard monitor types there is no such resolution as 1366x768. the only available resolution in 1300 series is 1360*768 which i am currently using but its squeezing everything.

* if i choose samsung in the manufacturer category, it lists a lot of models but i can't find my own model i.e. SyncMaster SA10, which i can easily find on their website.

* Driver of the monitor from SAMSUNG site doesn't work either, giving error of non-support.

* I have already tried installing windows from 2 different DVDs in case if something was wrong with my installation copy but that didn't help either.

I have installed and un-installed windows hundreds of times in the past and always installed nvidia drivers after fresh installation of windows and it never caused any problem until now. Any help from profession/non-professional person will highly be appreciated as i have almost given up on this issue.

Already did that ... after selecting 1366x768 at 60 Hz from properties i auto adjusted. now i have the resolution fitted to the screen but the text looks fuzzy, blurry and is really hard to read. I also tried the clear text option. Still it's not like a perfect native resolution.
