Well here is my build, and I dont think my cooling will suit a 290??

Those who say r9 290 runs like a volcano, dont fall for it. Only reference cooler in a bad case airflow gets super duper hot.

it does run a bit hotter than Nvidias cards, but its also much cheaper, get any r9 290 from msi/gigabyte/sapphire/xfx/etc, as long as it has cooler from them on it, it will run cool, and offer some overclocking.

280x is much better tha a gtx 960, even a r9 280 is on par with it(offers better performance in higher resolutions/post processing) is 40$ cheaper, has extra gig of vram, and can be overclocked into gtx 770 range of performance.

Like i said only Nivida cards worth getting are the gtx 970/980, or if you have a horrible power supply.
