Questions about raid 0

So the bandwidth on sata 3 is 6 gigabits/s which equates to about 750 mb/s. When you are using raid 0, is the information being sent along only 1 of the sata cables or all that apply? Because spending an arm and a leg on another ssd better be worth it, and a 50% increase in speed isn't worth it.

On RAID 0, the data is sent in parallel to the disks in the array. If you have 2 disk, then 50% and 50% are sent to the disks at the same time.

On SSD RAID 0, random reads and writes doesn't increase too much, but sequential ones do.
