Hello everyone. I am just entering into the world of water cooling and I am about to install a new Corsair H80i cooler. I want to do this right to achieve the best results for lower temps.My question is, is it better to just use the thermal compound that comes on the H80i or should I clean it and use Arctic Silver? I am currently running an Intel z77 / 1155 mobo with an i7-3770k and 16 gb of 1866 ram. My idle temps right now on air are averaging around 40-50c and at stress as high as 80c. I feel that is to high at idle prompting me to go water cooled as I plan to overclock.
