Hello!

A few days ago I finally got my PC up and running, I came into a issue which isn't huge, but it is rather annoying. I had this on my old PC and I managed to fix it by re-plugging my GPU, that might not of been it, it is just the only thing I have tried that fixed it on my previous PC. I will show some screen shots. It has a red ish sort of tint behind the text and images. I have seen people online and I can't find any solutions.

It will be great if you guys can help me get it fixed, as this clearly is the best place to ask.

Thanks! and please ask any questions.

Well since it is a display issue, the screenshot looks completely normal to me since my display is working fine.

Have you tried updating your graphic drivers? Tried a new cord or a new DVI-I to VGA adapter?

I'm afraid it's not visible in the screenshots you provided. You might want to check if the port you have plugged the converter is plugged in to supports an analog signal, as there are types of dvi that officially only support a digital signal. If this doesn't fix the issue, you might want to look into replacing the converter.

Hope this helps.

if the issue persisted across two different computer models, I would really suspect the monitor.

To eliminate the monitor as the source of the problem, the only thing we can do is to check using another (different) monitor.

You could just try a new cable. It it fixes great, if not you have only ruled out the cable/adapter as the issue. But that still leaves the monitor or card. Do you have someone that can lend a monitor? Or take your stuff to their place and test everything?
