right some of you might laugh at me for these questions, but i do not understand ram latency with mhz and stuff

I want to pick up 16gb ram (kingston hyperx savage) for my build, but which timing should i take?

2133MHz CL11

2400MHz CL11

1866MHz CL9

1600MHz CL9

like i said, i know nothing about the relationship between MHz and latency, so which should i take, and why?

also before you guys ask, i want to start a youtube channel and this will be for editing and gaming and such, and this will be the build:

CPU: intel core i5 4690k (will upgrade to i7 4790k for hyperthreading when needed)
Cooler: stock (untill i can afford custom loop :D)
GPU: gigabyte gtx 970 g1 gaming (will wait to see the AMD r9 300 series)
MOBO: ASrock fatal1ty z97m killer
RAM: kingston hyperX savage 16gb (open to other suggestions)
PSU: XFX pro 750w (open to other suggestions)
SSD: samsung 850 evo ( open to other suggestions)
HDD: wd blue 1tb (duh)

Case: Phanteks enthoo Evolv

Solution
out of those I would go with the 1866MHz CL9. You always want the highest MHz and lowest CL#. Mushkin and G.skill both make a 2133Mhz CL9 ram that is around $160 for 16GB in the states.

I cant really explain it not well anyways. Im sure someone else on here will, but out of those choices i would take the 1866mhz cl9 (the lower the cas latency the better you should try to find a good middle ground between speed and latency). If your a gamer you shouldn't really concern yourself with this because there isent much of a difference when gaming between 1333mhz or 3200mhz on most systems (if you have an apu fast memory can help a lot).

thanks, its just they are priced the same and if you can get better for the same price, why not? and i need it more for productivity, so tell my if i understand right, you should check for a lower cas latency but still a high(ish) MHz? to get that middleground you talk of?

high frequency, low CAS is what you're looking for.

2400MHz CL11 is probably the best one out of the choices you listed, but to be honest you won't see a major difference between the four RAM kits you mentioned. You can get the cheapest one if you so wish.

If your just gaming then get the lowest CL# you can get, the MHz don't matter as much. That's why everyone always recommends 1600MHz CL9 ram for gaming, if I know my build is just for gaming ill get a 1600MHz CL7 or 8 ram.

Now for cad/rendering computers you want to get the Highest MHz you can, since it doing long calculations you want to pump as much info through the ram as fast as you can. For this I would recommend 2400MHz or higher, CL# doesn't really matter.

A good middle ground for both gaming and rendering from what I have found is 2133MHz CL9. You get the higher MHz for rendering and the lower CL# for gaming.
