hi so i have a pc with asus p8p67 and recently replaced the psu from a 500w to a 850w. Everything works fine until one day i noticed that my pc would not start ( issue was that the gpu was kind of pulled out of the pcie slot. After i fixed that it was working fine but then i realized that there is now 2 green led lights on the bottom of the motherboard that is always on. The pc boots fine but im worried about the 2 lights that are always on i dont think they were there before.

would this have anything to do with the gpu being pulled out? (i think there might have been a screw that fell not sure though) or a psu issue? or is this normal. Thank you in advance

You might not have noticed it before but the LED's may have been persistently on. However, A good way to check would be to unpolug your PSU and reset you CMOS jumper(the clear cmos jumper) plug in the psu; press the on button. Unplug the PSU and set the clear cmos jumper back toits original position and then plug your PSU in and turn on your machine. Let us know what you get or if the LED's stay on.

Cheers.

Thanks for your reply I just wanted to make sure that its all good even if the pc is shut down? I am pretty sure I had not seen those lights for the past 2 - 3 years ive had my machine. I guess my machine was not running ok during those times :D thank you sir!

hmmm i think it wasnt on there before my reason being that i always watch movies in the dark i think i would have noticed the green light. I will try as advised when i get home. Another thing i also thought off before i also did not notice the bluetooth light turning on at start up. Now it has a bright blue light when i turn on the machine.

No i didn't... the only thing i can think of that happened was when my gpu fell of the pcie slot.... the pc would not boot but when i re seated the gpu it was fine. i never found the screw for it but i shook the case and didn't see anything or hear anything.
