(Semi) Modular vs. Non PSU for First Build

Hello, I'm planning on building my first, and maybe a second soon, PC. On Craigslist, there are some good PSUs that aren't modular. For a first build (this is just a PC to browse the web, etc.) would it be easier to get a semi-modular PSU/modular or a non-modular? I'm on a budget, and the extra could cost me. Should I spend a little more for a semi-modular (I know there aren't cheap modular PSUs) or would it really be that much easier for a first build? Also, on another note, non-modular PSUs have more cables, so could you just plug in the ones you only need instead of having all these extra cables, or are PSUs set up where one plug/port on the PSU connects multiple cables from it; in that case, would you still be left with the cables you don't need attached to the one cable you do need? Sorry if that's confusing.

Solution
Modular PSUs help a ton with computer building, it's an absolute headache dealing with all those extra wires!

I would put the extra money into one, unless you have a full tower then there are a lot of places to put those wires.

I only build with modular , keeps things simple ., cable management is a snap.
