keeping ssd storage down 30gb

I have a 30 gb ssd and trying to reduce storage of stuff I don't need to where possible,moving all that can be moved to an external drive.My motherboard doesn't support ACHI which is needed for TRIM I believe,any suggestions .I see that some of these eraser or wipers paste over or overwrite the deleted portion with 0 and 1 which indicates the space is being used.Is there some feature out there that would suit my needs.

(obviously you won't be able to do step 1)

Thanks for this list,I did most of them and came to a grinding halt at the stage of Disable ClearPageFie at Shutdown and large system cache..How big shouldSystem Managed Size be as I have no idea,I only use this pc for home use,or gaming or streaming etc.

How big? I see no offer to set the size. Just turning it on or off.

Hi Can't follow your question "how big" I want to know how big is a safe size but it seems you are asking me the same question. I don't know where the offer comes into this as I would have no idea what size to accept if one was made.Not sure what you mean by "Just turning it in or of"

What I mean is, I don't see a place to choose size in that registry option. Only enable or disable.
