Gigabyte gtx 780 ti issue

I have bought a gtx gigabyte 780 to ghz edition version.

I read it makes it more stable if i downlock it to the regular 780 so can someone help me with how to do that. I have searched on google and cant find instructions. I heard it was pretty easy?

Is your card currently unstable or overheating?
If not I would suggest just leaving it.

It is a bit unstable, but I havent really tested it I just read a bunch of BAD things about it so im worried and i would rather be certain it is stable

Try downloading OC GURU II from here http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Utility/vga_utility_oc_guru_2_1.78.exe

After you install the utility you will be able to adjust your clock speed.
