System specs: Amd fx 8320, msi 650 ti boost. m99fx asus pro 2.0 mobo and 8 gigibytes of g1 sniper 1866 memory

After a while of being lazy i decided to cable manage my pc and replace my cpu cooler. After the cable management, I attempted to take of the stock cooler. In my attempt i failed in taking it off as i sis not want to use that much force and take off the cpu. After a few hiccups with my ssd's connections and some wires behind my mobo i got my pc to boot into windows again. While watching a youtube video on one monitor and playing pokemon showdown on the other a weird crack sound plays through my headphones and the screen freezes. The screen remained that way until I restarted it. After the restart everything worked fine, The only other time this has happened was my attempt to play Dragon age inquisition of a friends flash drive. (May have been torrented idk what my friend does) As a note this has not happened during other jard to run games like shadow of mordor on very high.

http://imgur.com/yDxbMkY is my idle temp and could it be my ssd? I just noticed tht my boot device red led is on after i try to restart after the crash. Then i have to fiddle with my ssd' wires and then it turns on back to windows 8 after 3 boot attempts. It also weirdly takes me to the windows recovery screen on the 4thy attempt and then boots into windows 8.

They are your Core temp margins. I think Tj max is 80C for your CPU. So 23C margin means 57C - core temp. Which means your CPU temp should be about 52C.

At idle, that is too hot.

Blow your case out with compressed air to get the dust out. Imcrewase CPU fan to over 1000rpm. Post the temp results. Hopefully the margins will have gone up another 10C.

well other than my cpu being too hot i tried to replace my graphics card with a 7950 and it would not boot so i tried clearing my cmos as tht had helped with a similar previous issue, but now it will just show up with a blank screen every time i try to boot.......
