Hey guys. I need to build a low budget computer for my grandparents asap. Looking to keep the price between $400 and $500. I have a microcenter near me and will be buying a majority of the parts there tomorrow, and if I can't buy them all there then it is most preferable to use amazon for the fast shipping. We already have a monitor keyboard and mouse, so just the parts are necessary. Thanks for the help guys!
This computer will only be used for light word documents, flash games (like a slot machine game) online, and checking emails. Thanks for all the help!

Notes- Does not include HDD. I think a 256gb ssd should be enough. If space runs short then they can always get more storage.

I'm looking online now. Is there any way to get the $40 off the mobo/cpu combo online? I want to purchase them online for in store pick up just to make it easy on myself, but I can't find that option.

A cheap name brand desktop will cost less, and comes with a warranty. I would just remove the boatware and set it up for your Grandparents. Just make sure you have a good antivirus/malware program and you will be good to go. My last budget build was over 400.00 because I had to buy windows, and it was a step below what I could have gotten from one of the big name brands. I don't do budget builds anymore.

The bloat ware is the reason I'd probably build it myself. My grandparents hate pop ups, and I wouldn't want to have that happen. I'm going to check out dreamspark as I am a student and see if I can get a key for them there
