As the title suggests, I updated the drivers on my pc because when I built it I just used the drivers on the disc thinking that would be good enough, but I wanted everything to be up to date so I went online to download the most recent drivers and install them. These were for my motherboard and tp-link network adaptor, by the way. I waited to restart until I had updated all of them.
When I restarted, I got the screen: "Windows is installing updates, do not power down your computer". Good It got through about half of the updates when suddenly the screen went black, the fans slowed down, and it stayed like that until I decided to just hit the restart button on my case. Windows restarted and I got the screen: "Windows finishing installing updates 30% complete", and it booted up fine and everything seems to be working properly. I'm not sure my drivers properly installed because that just seemed a little too weird. But everything is working and it seems like everything was updated properly. Does anybody have any idea what happened here, or what I need to do if this is a problem?
